This year's 'Russian' theme ... hmm, just like Moscow
Live coal hand-warming in public places
Pretty lights at the Tivoli Gardens
So..o.o.o pretty!
Seasonal goodies - Æbleskiver, little donut type things (not actually bigger than my head - it's a perspective thing), and gløgg
Looks very colorful and festive!
ReplyDeleteWonderful wonderful ...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I really should go out into the cold and take some photos of all the lights in Seoul right now (which, although Christmas is not a holiday here, still decorates quite a bit)...however, enjoying your photos is warmer and requires less work.
ReplyDeleteSparkly and very Disneyesque. But what an adventurous lot the Danes are eh? Live coals in public places, and Æbleskiver in pools of blood!
ReplyDeleteThe writing on the wall of the last photo in English gives the game away. These photos were actually taken in Cheshire, weren't they?
ReplyDeleteIt all looks amazing, and very colourful and jolly. Glad you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. Beautiful images, Clare. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteStunning pics! Denmark used to be the most expensive place in the world to visit but I suppose the euro changed all that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments - it was particularly picturesque despite the absence of snow!
ReplyDeleteDave - I think it was supposed to be an Irish bar - not one of those cheesy ones, but a few imported items, I agree!
Rog - Like us, the Danes eschewed the Euro ... had to hide bits of brekky in me handbag for lunch!
