Hibernation over?

I fear I have been remiss in my blogging - but who can blame a girl for a little hibernation at this time of year?

After all, I had fattened myself up, lowered my body temperature, plumped up the duvet.

Having said that I've actually been rather busy in my nest - the book, the play (oh, didn't I mention the play yet? I'll come back to that presently).

And I did foray out yesterday because it was very lovely and I thought I may need some more nuts (metaphorically speaking).  Here is proof that it is spring already and I shall be frolicking in the green fields of the blogosphere before you know it.

Snowdrops!

Hillbark House in Royden Park - where Wayne Rooney had
his wedding reception, but otherwise quite respectable

  1. Ah, the play's the thing, eh? Looking forward to hearing about it as well as a visit from you to TLLG, some new figurines have arrived in my succulent garden, and I'm sure they'd love to see you @ http://bit.ly/Adzhq7 as well as @ http://bit.ly/yHVNiA

  2. I had to re-read that second paragraph. For a minute I thought that, like me, you had fattened up your lower body. My immediate reaction was, well, that's Christmas for you.

  4. I wouldn't frolic yet if I were you, Broken Biro. You'd get frostbite if you frolicked in Wiltshire this morning.

I don't think it is just you in hibernation - most blogs (and me) haven't done much activity over the last few weeks. Makes you feel vindicated doesn't it?! he he he he!

Happy new year to you ;-)
